New US & Canada tour coming up
South London collective Archive and Italian sound explorers JoyCut are heading to the US and Canada for a co-headline run of eleven dates this spring. It's Archive's first time performing on the continent
After thirty years, thirteen studio albums, and sold-out arenas across Europe, Archive are finally crossing the Atlantic. The band, known for their genre-defying mix of trip-hop, progressive rock, and electronica, will co-headline with Bologna-based JoyCut on a tour running from April 23 through May 11.
The tour supports Archive's latest album Glass Minds, released in February on their own Dangervisit label through [PIAS]. The record has been met with widespread acclaim, with reviewers noting its spacious, minimal approach as a departure from the dense, heavy sound of 2022's Call to Arms & Angels.
Venues across the run are intimate, capacities between 300 and 1,000, a stark contrast to the 15,000-seat Accor Arena the band headlined in Paris in 2023. Toronto has already sold out and Montreal is down to last tickets. Two dates (Elkton, MD and Vancouver, BC) were added after initial demand exceeded expectations.
